About Ultra-board

Ultra-boards are the lightweight structural panel which made of rigid polystyrene foam core. The cores are faced on both the side by the moisture resistance sheet made of solid polystyrene. In the Ultraboard, the foam and facers are bonded together to last for a permanent period. The laminates are developed to offer you a perfect surface for silk screening, photo mounting, and painting. With all these properties, ultra-boards are emerged as the best choice for point of purchase display, routed letters, exhibits, photo mounting, and signage.



Things that you should know about Ultra-boards

1.      Exterior usage
These boards cannot be used for any kind of exterior applications.

2.      Warping
Generally, ultra-broad panels will not warp. But under certain circumstances then can get bowed. These panels are produced and packaged in a flat condition. But after unpacking, they can bow. This can be corrected by inverting the panel on a flat surface and let them stay there for around 10 to 20 hours.

3.      Facing surfaces
Most of the standard ultra-boards have 0.015" litho grade high-quality polystyrene facers. However, you can choose colored facers on a custom quote basis.

About Gatorboards

These are the most durable display boards and come with rigid foam cores. It looks like ultra-broad, but the durability of the polystyrene cores gives the gatorboard a superior sturdiness in comparison to Ultraboard. The quality of the boards along with its lightweight construction is noticeable.

Uses of Gatorboard
1.      As these are lightweight and offer a high level of durability, gatorboard can be a perfect alternative of the rigid plastic board.

2.      Such signs can last for a longer period than the foam boards as they are superior in quality. If you are opening up a restaurant, such a board will make for a perfect portable menu.

3.       The surface is quite strong and resistant to puncture.
